After finishing up a 22 year career in the Hospitality Management sector, which included working for some of the largest hotel and timeshare companies in the world, such as: Sheraton Hotels, Lawrence Welk Resorts, All Season Resorts, Sunterra Resorts, and Hilton Grand Vacations, holding high level positions with each company, Mr. Menendez decided to enter the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) world in Hawaii in 2008. He was the Vice President of Operations for a Big Island PEO which was very small. Over the period of 18 months he had grown this PEO to the 5 largest in the state out of 16PEO’s.

In 2010, Mr. Menendez co-founded HRBenefix with his partner and in a short three years had taken the PEO to the 3rd largest in the State of Hawaii. Expanding the company, an office was then opened in Souderton, Pennsylvania (2012) and a second office in Denver, Colorado in September 2013. In April 2014, the office in Hawaii was merged with another Hawaii PEO. Mr.Menendez never left the islands and now has reopened as The HRB Group.
